Dubai: At least two people were killed and eight others injured in five separate traffic accidents in Dubai over the weekend, according to Dubai Police.

An Indian man was killed in a run over accident on Friday while another man was killed on Sunday morning on Dubai Bypass Road.

A cyclist was injured when he was hit by a pick up truck. A diesel tanker turned over at Al Manama Street on the Dubai-Al Ain Road causing diesel to spill on the road and leading to a traffic jam for several hours. The driver of the tanker sustained minor injuries in the accident.
