Sharjah to increase bus services during Eid

Sharjah: The Sharjah Transport Authority has announced that they would increase the number of bus trips within the city by 500 trips during the Eid holidays.

During Eid holidays, commuters will only have to wait approximately 15 minutes in order to catch a bus, instead of waiting for up to 40 minutes.

"Taxis have also been instructed to wait for passengers in busy areas, such as hospitals, shopping centres and parks," said Majid Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of Sharjah Transport.
