Dubai: The Public Transport Agency, Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), has announced free parking in all paid parking zones in Dubai from September 8, Wednesday, to the third day of Eid Al Fitr.
The parking space of Deira Fish Market will not be exempted during the Eid holiday period in order to provide parking spaces for visitors of this facility.
Engineer Adil Al Marzooki, Director of Parking, Traffic & Roads Agency, said: "This step comes in the context of RTA attention to ensure smooth mobility of inhabitants and visitors of Dubai during holidays and religious events; which in turn reflects the continuous care of the RTA for the public and demonstrates the sense of responsibility towards the visitors and inhabitants of the emirate."
Parking use will revert to the normal fee timing from 8am to 1pm, and from 4pm to 9pm after the end of the Eid holiday and resumption of the official working hours.
