Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police Station has launched a campaign for safe street crossing.
The campaign will take place along some of the main roads from April 16 to 18 and aims to raise awareness to help prevent accidents that occur at intersections and traffic lights.
The initiative is part of the Abu Dhabi General Command Operation Room's strategic plan to implement and enforce safe road measures. Colonel Maktoum Bin Ali Al Sharifi, Director of Capital Police Directorate, called on the public to use pedestrian walkways and bridges to ensure their safety.
