Building tunnel for Metro
Tunnel boring machines Al Wugeisha 1 and 2 have started operations for the metro railway, the Rail Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority announced.
Dubai: Tunnel boring machines Al Wugeisha 1 and 2 have started operations for the metro railway, the Rail Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority announced.
Al Wugeisha 1 has started the main drive and Al Wugeisha 2 has begun its initial drive. Al Wugeisha 1 will tunnel from Union Square to BurJuman.
The machine is scheduled to reach BurJuman by early September, covering a length of 1.5 km.
