Brothers seriously hurt in accident
Their vehicle hit a pole and overturned
Sharjah: Two young Emirati brothers were seriously injured in a horrific accident on Maleiha Road in Sharjah on Tuesday afternoon.
The men, identified as S.M. Kh., 25, and Kh. M. Kh., 23, were rushed to Al Qasimi Hospital by Anjad and ambulance units.
Police officials said the accident took place at 12.30pm. The brothers' 4WD vehicle veered to the left lane due to speeding and crashed into a concrete pole, causing the vehicle to overturn several times.
The police patrol and ambulance immediately rushed to the scene after the operation room at Sharjah police received news of the incident, the officials said.
One of the men is in critical condition as he hurt his head.
