Abu Dhabi taxi regulatory authority rules on taxi fares
TransAD, the taxi regulatory authority in Abu Dhabi said taxi fares will remain unchanged until November 2008.
Abu Dhabi: TransAD, the taxi regulatory authority in Abu Dhabi said taxi fares will remain unchanged until November 2008.
It also announced the launch of a dispatch system to enable passengers to call taxis.
The service will cost Dh2 during the day and Dh3 at night.
At least 1,600 new taxis have been introduced in the emirate, and 790 have been phased out.
