Abu Dhabi Department of Transport launches new website
The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of its website, designed to give an overview on the workings of all the projects with its involvement.
Abu Dhabi: The Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of its website, designed to give an overview on the workings of all the projects with its involvement.
The site – www.dot.abudhabi.ae – will act as a main hub of information on the Department's work. It will include press releases, photographs and general information about the four areas in which the department is involved – Aviation, Maritime, Highways and Public Transport.
There is also a section about the background of the Department, explaining the reasons for its inception, its goals and vision for the future, together with details about individual projects being undertaken by the Department.
It also has a space to receive public's feedback on future transport policies & plans in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Chairman of the Department of Transport, Abdullah Rashid Al Otaiba explained that the new website would act as an ‘E-Gate' through which the Department could communicate with the public.
