Abu Dhabi: The Singapore Embassy in the UAE will outsource individual walk-in visa applications from August 1, 2008.
Omeir Travel has been appointed as its visa processing agency, which follows the appointment of Versatile Services Agency, Uranus Travel and Tours and VFS Global in Dubai earlier in 2008.
The appointment has been made to ease the number of applications from UAE business and leisure travelers to Singapore.
Statistics for the first half of 2008 show that visitor numbers are up by 24 per cent from 2007.
