Dubai: 'Jetman' Yves Rossy, a Swiss ex-fighter pilot, took to Dubai's skies to perform stunning aerial aerobatics with his custom wing suit.
Rossy, a A380 captain and Guinness Book record holder and the first man to fly with a jet-propelled wing, pushed the boundaries of personal jet transport as he demonstrated the ease with which he flies with his bat wing-like kit, doing adrenaline-induced manoeuvres.
He was not alone.
A synergy of aviation talents took place when Rossy was joined by aerobatics champ Zoltan Veres, as shown by the clip.
After the daredevils jumped off a chopper, it was one was impressive stunt after another -- rolls, hammerheads and S-turn -- with a small plane piloted by Veres.
Rossy was joined by Vince "Junior Jetman (JJ)" Reffet pulling off awesome aerial stunts, captured in this Youtube video.
Rossy had previously flown his custom wing fitted with small jet engines in formation with fighter jets, over the Grand Canyon in the US, around Mount Fuji in Japan and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, among others.
How do the jetmen land? Pretty simple, actually: with the aid of a parachute.
