Dubai: Appreciating the services rendered by its staff from various categories the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has honoured several of its workers.

Cleaners, drivers and inspectors honoured for Shaikh Mohammad’s Accession Day
The initiative is part of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai’s efforts to dedicate the celebrations of his Accession Day this year to thank and honour individuals delivering basic services such as farming, cleaning and construction workers, public transport drivers, domestic workers etc.
RTA has honoured 25 cleaning staff, five marine transport workers and 70 bus and taxi drivers as well as 20 parking inspectors in the past few days.
Ahlam Al Feel, Director of Administrative Services, Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, honoured these workers who were selected on the basis of a number of parameters, including seniority at the RTA, distinguished performance, punctuality in attendance, speedy and effective service provision to RTA’s employees, besides adhering to proper norms of personal attitudes, work practices, and honesty.
Attention was given in selecting multi-national staff who were rewarded with cash grants and appreciation gifts in a ceremony attended by a host of managers and employees of the department.
