Malfunction in Ras Al Khaimah radar leads to fines

Motorists complain about radar in Ras Al Khaimah flashing when any vehicle passes

Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Traffic and Patrol Department has cancelled the fines which were issued to motorists due to malfunctioning of a radar which took photos of every car passing on the Shamal-Al Rams Road.

Brigadier Ganem Ahmad Ganem, Director-General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that the department received a number of complaints from a number of drivers during the past few days about the radar flashing when any car passed.

The traffic department has cancelled all the offences recorded on the radar.
