UAE receives first batch of H1N1 vaccines
A portion of the vaccines will also be set apart for Haj pilgrims to be administered before they travel for Haj. However, it will be optional for the Haj pilgrims to take the vaccinations.

Dubai: The UAE has received its first batch of of H1N1 vaccines, said a source from the Ministry of Health (MoH). 40,000 units of the vaccine have been received by the ministry so far, out of an expected 900,000 units.
Emarat Al Youm an Arabic daily reported that the distribution of the vaccines will be carried out by the MoH across all emirates soon. A portion of the vaccines will also be set apart for Haj pilgrims to be administered before they travel for Haj. However, it will be optional for the Haj pilgrims to take the vaccinations.
A Ministry of Health spokesperson said that vaccination is expected to start by the end of this week or early next week.The MoH is expected to receive the remaining 860,000 units in the next two months.
