UAE delegation heads to Vienna to attend OPEC meeting
A UAE delegation, headed by Mohammad Bin Dha'en Al Hamili, Energy Minister, went to Vienna, Austria, to take part in the emergency meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), to be held on Friday.
Abu Dhabi: A UAE delegation, headed by Mohammad Bin Dha'en Al Hamili, Energy Minister, went to Vienna, Austria, to take part in the emergency meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), to be held on Friday.
The OPEC will discuss the global financial crisis and its repercussions on the oil market. Earlier, the OPEC decided to hold the emergency meeting on November 28, but due to rapid unfolding developments at the World Financial Markets, it rescheduled the meeting to Friday.
