Tawam Hospital launches mobile mammography unit
Tawam Hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine launched the first mobile mammography unit in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi: Tawam Hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine launched the first mobile mammography unit in the UAE.
The pilot project will start operation in Abu Dhabi. The hospital is planning to screen up to 20 patients per day.
The all female operated mobile service uses cutting edge digital technology. Images can be transmitted to the Tawam hospital for instant diagnosis.
