UAE residents who are fit and are 17 years old and above can help save lives by donating blood at the Al Wasl Hospital on November 18, a group said.
Alpha Phi Omega UAE Alumni Association (APO-UAE), a brotherhood of Filipinos in the UAE, has announced its annual bloodletting activity with the theme "One Drop, One Life."
The two-hour service project of APO-UAE is in accordance with its memorandum of agreement with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Around 90 APO-UAE members will participate in the event which will commence at exactly eight o'clock in the morning. Individuals who are willing to impart themselves through this activity may bring any of the following: Emirates Identification Card, Passport copy with residence visa copy, or Red Cresent or Red Cross Donation Card.
