One of the largest private hospitals in region set to open in Dubai

City Hospital, one of the largest and most technologically advanced private hospitals in the region, is set to open in the second quarter of 2008 at Dubai Healthcare City, it was announced on Tuesday during Arab Health exhibition.

Dubai: City Hospital, one of the largest and most technologically advanced private hospitals in the region, is set to open in the second quarter of 2008 at Dubai Healthcare City, it was announced on Tuesday during Arab Health exhibition.

City Hospital, costing more than $100 million (about Dh360 million), will offer a range of specialties.

Completion of the hospital, a joint venture between Medi-Clinic International, the Varkey group and General Electric, will be a milestone in the development of healthcare.
