Dubai: A temporary medical centre was set up at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 on Sunday to help airport employees complete their medical tests.

The centre that will be operational till Thursday will cater to employees of Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Civil Defence, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, apart from residents. The centre includes an eye clinic, physiotherapy and dental services.

The centre was inaugurated by Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Surour, Deputy Director of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigner Affairs (GDRFA).

The centre reaffirms the directorate’s keenness to implement plans to raise awareness and best health practices, especially considering the importance of such practices in facing health-related challenges resulting from chronic diseases.
