Dubai: Immunisation guidelines in accordance with the World Health Organisation were discussed by the Immunisation Technical Advisory Committee from the Ministry of Health.
Areas discussed included the role of the Ministry and national authorities; the five approved vaccinations — those administered in the first year of life, prescribed under a doctor’s instructions, for travellers, during international health crises, and new vaccinations — and the latest scientific progresses about the required vaccinations.
The committee works as an advisory board for national immunisation to provide guidance and advice to all concerned authorities and departments.
