Dubai: The Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences will hold the seventh Dubai International Conference for Medical Sciences in December.

Hamdan Medical Award holds December conference
Lecture on the separation of conjoined twins among scientific sessions
The conference will take place at Dubai International Convention Centre and will talk about neonatal & fetal medicine, nutrition in infancy and inborn errors of metabolism and will include pioneers in paediatrics and gynaecology.
The winners of the seventh term 2011-2012 award will be honoured in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Health Authority.
The conference will hold many important lectures, including a lecture about the Saudi National Programme for Conjoined Twins by Dr Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, KSA Minister of Health and head of the programme’s Surgical and Multidisciplinary Team.
The Conference will also include four scientific sessions and 16 lectures on topics that include fetal surgery, infant feeding and the risk of later obesity, metabolism in the neonatal period, and DNA testing in 2012.
