Dubai health clinic for elderly

Dubai: The emirate’s sole centre for the elderly, the Community Centre for the Elderly in Al Mamzar, houses a new clinic offering comprehensive health evaluation aimed at geriatric patients.

It will also facilitate a registry that will document illnesses like osteoporosis in the ageing population.

Earlier this year, a multi-sensory stimulation room called the Snoezelen (pronounced SNOO-ze-len) Room was inaugurated at the Centre.
