Complex heart procedures conducted

Dubai: Nabadat, an initiative by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, has reported the success of 23 heart operations, with some being the most complex in the world. The operations were jointly conducted by an international and local team, bringing the total lives saved through the initiative close to 300.

Nabadat addresses the need for heart procedures for approximately 100 children who are treated annually in Dubai hospitals for congenital heart defects and related complications.

The next phase of the initiative aims to widen the scope outside the UAE.
