Cardiac care: Red Crescent teams up for initiative in Africa
The Emirates World Heart Group (EWHG) and the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) launched their "Beating Heart" initiative in Dar es Salam yesterday to support the treatment of children with heart diseases in the Horn of Africa region.
Dar es Salaam: The Emirates World Heart Group (EWHG) and the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) launched their "Beating Heart" initiative in Dar es Salam yesterday to support the treatment of children with heart diseases in the Horn of Africa region.
Under the initiative, which was launched under the theme "Together for a beating heart for children", a host of world renowned heart surgeons and physicians from the UAE, France, Syria, UK, Argentine, Egypt, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia will treat thousands of African children with congenital fatal heart conditions.
