BurJuman Pink Walkathon 2012 announced

Dubai; Residents can support breast cancer awareness and help raise funds by taking part in the 2012 Pink Walkathon at Zabeel Park on November 2, at 8.30am. The walkathon, in its ninth edition, is the flagship event by BurJuman Safe and Sound Campaign, one of the region’s most comprehensive breast cancer awareness initiatives.

It aimS to spread the message ‘Early Detection Saves Lives’ and raise funds to provide free mammograms and patient care to needy women in the UAE. All fund collection and usage is monitored by Red Crescent.
