Bottled water v tap water: What people think
Whatever the labels say, there is a good chance it all came out of the same tap anyway, but don't worry it is not as bad as it sounds. Here's what people think.

"Who drinks tap water? People say it's only fit for washing clothes or showering. And it's always hot, it's too hot to drink. I drink bottled water all the time. I don't really know where it comes from but it's approved by the government so it's OK. I don't think it is very expensive to drink bottled water."

"I always drink bottled water. I pick the big brands. The one I drink is high in sodium but I like it. Tap water is also high in calcium and sodium. I don't trust tap water because of the leakages in sewerage. Maybe the pipes are cracked. In Montreal, I remember a lot of intestinal problems from drinking tap water."
Iyad Alzaru, 45
Jordanian
"I drink bottled water. I think tap water is not good to drink and it has a funny taste. I prefer bottled water, it's much easier. I think tap water is not good for you anyway. I only drink Perrier water. I much prefer sparkling water to still. I rarely drink it in fact."
Eva Quaeva, 22
Kazakh
"We always drink bottled water. I think it is recommended to drink it rather than tap water. I am considering putting a water filter on our taps at home though. I don't know where the bottled water comes from. I assume from a natural source, a mountain spring I suppose. In India our house is fitted with filters."
