Accalia Hipwood from Radio 2’s Lifestyle Show is joined by Dr Melanie Schlatter PhD, Consultant Health Psychologist, to discuss the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Accalia and Dr Schlatter stress the importance of self-checks, explore the emotional aspects of being diagnosed, and talk about why woman should not be afraid when they feel a lump. They also highlight Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising events taking place in the UAE, as well support groups.
