Abu Dhabi: Dr Ahmad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Chairman of Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD), handed ISO 9001 certificates to a group of 13 health inspectors who successfully completed a training course last January.

The inspectors from HAAD gained 40 credit hours through the session and passed the ISO 9001 test.

Al Mazroui highlighted the importance of receiving training and continuous education to increase knowledge. He told HAAD inspectors that investing in human resources is vital to opening up opportunities for employees in different locations and specialisations.

"Quality and excellence are the main pillars of performance in various departments and sections in line with the strategy and vision of Abu Dhabi under the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Always remember that you represent HAAD and the emirate of Abu Dhabi, where people and health care should be the top of your priorities,'' said Al Mazroui in his speech during the award ceremony.
