Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday inspected the housing project for Emirati youth in Oud Al Muteenah to check if they were ready for delivery.

The Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Programme supervised the implementation of the construction and delivery of the project that includes about 1,000 modern villas.

Shaikh Mohammad toured the project, which spans 127,000 hectares, and viewed the villas' designs, which featured Andalusian, Islamic and local architecture to reflect the UAE's historic links with the Arab and Islamic civilisations.

He also inspected the project's infrastructure and its compliance with specifications, which meet the needs for the decent and modern lifestyle that Shaikh Mohammad is keen to provide to his people. Shaikh Mohammad toured a model villa and inspected its facilities and size. He also viewed plans, blueprints and models of the homes implemented by the establishment in other areas in Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad expressed his happiness and satisfaction with the specifications of the houses, in line with his directions to provide Emiratis with houses that enable them to have a good life.

Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and other senior officials.
