UAE private sector holiday on Sunday and Thursday

Private sector in the UAE will be closed on Sunday, December 28, 2008 and January 1, 2009, to mark the Hijri New Year and the Gregorian New Year respectively, according to a circular issued by Saqr Bin Gobash, Minister of Labour, on Monday.
