UAE President receives leader of Pakistan People's Party
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday received Asif Ali Zardari, leader of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), who is currently visiting the UAE.
Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday received Asif Ali Zardari, leader of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), who is currently visiting the UAE.
Shaikh Khalifa and Zardari exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, including UAE-Pakistan relations.
The PPP chairman expressed his thanks to President Shaikh Khalifa for supporting the Pakistanis in their endeavours to unify ranks in the best interest of the Pakistani people.
During the meeting, Zardari commended the UAE for its numerous development and charity projects in Pakistan.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of other officials.
