Abu Dhabi: The National Day holiday for public sector workers in the UAE will run from Tuesday, December 2 to Thursday, December 4, with work resuming on Sunday, December 7, it has been announced.
Hussain Bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, said on Friday that the announcement is part of the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and follows the orders of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Al Hammadi said: "On this occasion, we extend congratulations to Shaikh Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammad and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them good health."
He also congratulated the UAE and the Arab and Islamic nations on this national occasion.
