Dubai: The UAE is extending a hand of generosity and peace to the world and building bridges of communication between its people, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said.
The comments were made when Shaikh Mohammad received heads of Foreign Ministry departments and UAE diplomatic missions yesterday in the presence of Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, shaikhs and senior officials.
"The UAE is building bridges of love and communication between our people and other people, especially in poor countries which we, as a leadership, are keen to provide with decent life," Shaikh Mohammad said.
"This is done through humanitarian initiatives that focus on health and education as the key factors for a stable life and society."
Shaikh Mohammad reassured the diplomats that the situation in the UAE was fine and the leadership would take further developmental steps to become the first in the world.
Reality
Shaikh Mohammad highlighted the government's great achievements in modernisation and managerial and financial development, pointing out that the government's strategic plan had become a reality.
"Each minister has to implement the part related to his ministry after being given the authority needed to work freely and be creative and productive," Shaikh Mohammad said.
He stressed the importance of production in all kinds of work, adding that each worker has the energy and ability to be productive if he believed in his work, because faith, accompanied by planning, is the motivation to succeed.
"Our country is progressing, and there is no space for failure," he said, adding that he hoped to make the UAE one of the world's leading countries in the economic, scientific and technical fields.
"We have what it takes, and God gave us the knowledge, experience, intelligence and creativity that made our achievements famous worldwide," he said.
Shaikh Mohammad performed Maghreb prayers with his guests before hosting an Iftar banquet in their honour.
The meeting and banquet were attended by shaikhs, ministers and senior officials.
