- Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan surprised a crippled national woman as he walked into her hospital room along with his three children Shaikha Mouza, Shaikh Zayed and Shaikh Khalifa.
Shaikh Saif was accompanied by his children, Shaikha Mouza, Shaikh Zayed and Shaikh Khalifa.
The 25-year old Yusra Yasir Al Hatali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, had sent a written message to Shaikh Saif expressing her long cherished wish to meet him in person.
Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle disease that weakens the musculoskeletal system and hampers movement.
During the past several years, Yusra has admired Shaikh Saif in his efforts to serve the nation through his innovative activities.
She even used to clip news stories related to his activities and keep them in a file as an expression of her awe and respect, said her father Yasir Al Hatali.
Unable to speak to express her joy, Yusra spelt out her gratitude to Shaikh Saif using a laptop computer and struggled to breathe in satisfaction. Yusra is not able to breathe herself and is supported through artificial ventilation at the hospital.
Shaikha Mouza Bint Saif offered a bunch of flowers to Yusra, who smiled through her tears.
