UAE and Qatar signs deal to set up a joint investment fund

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday held talks Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
They discussed bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries and a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Hamad attended the signing of an agreement to set up a joint investment fund between the UAE and Qatar.
Shaikh Hamad held a lunch banquet in honour of Shaikh Khalifa and his accompanying delegation.
Later, Shaikh Khalifa returned home and was received at the Abu Dhabi airport by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Earlier, on arrival in Doha, Shaikh Khalifa was received by Emir of Qatar, and a number of shaikhs and senior officials.
He was earlier seen off at the Abu Dhabi airport by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and other shaikhs and senior officials.
Shaikh Khalifa was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Ahmad Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Abdul Redha Abdullah Khoory, UAE ambassador to Qatar.
