Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday visited Wadi Al Helo in the Eastern Region to assess the needs of citizens.
The Sharjah Ruler’s visit comes as part of his ongoing inspection tours to assess the needs of citizens and closely follow up the execution of projects currently being implemented by the government of Sharjah to develop the valley and meet the demands and requirements of its people. Dr Shaikh Sultan met the citizens of Wadi Al Helo who expressed their satisfaction and pleasure at the visit.
He instructed parents to guide their children by instilling good values that develops their abilities and lead them into doing good for their nation and themselves.
Dr Shaikh Sultan ordered the setting up of a number of infrastructure projects to develop the area. He ordered the construction of 30 low-cost housing units, a secondary school, a sports club and a culture centre.
At the conclusion of the tour, a banquet was hosted in honour of Dr Shaikh Sultan.
