Shaikh Mohammad mourns death of Umm Al Quwain ruler
The Emiri Court of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourns the death of Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Rashid Bin Ahmad Al Mualla, who died on Friday in London.
Dubai: The Emiri Court of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourns the death of Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Rashid Bin Ahmad Al Mualla, who died on Friday in London.
A week long state of mourning has been declared in Dubai, during which flags shall fly at half mast.
All federal and government departments and institutions shall remain closed for three days beginning on Friday.
All celebrations and activities scheduled for Saturday to mark the third anniversary of the accession of Shaikh Mohammad as ruler of Dubai have been cancelled.
