Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday attended the conclusion of the 2014 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit.

On the sidelines of Formula 1, Shaikh Mohammad met Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

They discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various domains. The talks also touched on sports affairs and the importance of tournaments and regional and international sports festivals in bridging gaps and distances between peoples, especially the youth.

Later in the day, Shaikh Mohammad met Serbian President Tomislav Nikolićand discussed a number of issues related to relations between the UAE and Serbia and the importance of strengthening them at all levels.

They discussed a number of issues and the need to extend bridges of communication between young people across the world through sports competitions and tournaments as well as youth activities that allow young people to know each other, share their experiences and build friendships that help enhance chances for peace between all countries and peoples across the world

The Middle East’s biggest event was also attended by kings and heads of state of brotherly and friendly countries as well as Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the emirates, senior officials and VIPs amid a huge turnout of fans of Formula 1.
