Ras Al Khaimah: Under the patronage of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, inaugurated this morning (Wednesday) the Shaikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah
After the opening ceremony, Shaikh Saud toured the hospital, including the oncology centre, radiation therapy, surgical rooms, cardiac catheterisation, intensive care and laboratories, as well as other departments.
Shaikh Saud said: “Today we celebrate the opening of the edifice, one of many monuments, written by Shaikh Khalifa in the annals of history of our beloved country, and an achievement to be added to many national achievements under the country’s wise leadership, which had a deep impact in providing a decent life and prosperity for UAE citizens.”
He added that these achievements are added to so many others in the different areas of health, social and human development in the country to match the best health care in the world.
Shaikh Saud pointed out, “We stand on the threshold of a medical edifice that adds a distinctive landmark in the country and region’s health-care sector.
“We are proud as the sons of Ras Al Khaimah to embrace the new hospital, that carries the name of Shaikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital, which is dear to our hearts,” he said.
The new hospital includes medical care units according to the highest international quality used in specialised hospitals, in line with the vision of Shaikh Khalifa that seeks to provide the best services and facilities, thus attracting the most successful specialised international experiences, he added.
