Abu Dhabi: Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, urged members of the Policies and Strategies Council at the Ministry of Interior to accelerate the pace of work and excellence to enhance the performance of the UAE Police in accordance with the highest global standards.
“This aims to keep pace with the methods of development and modernisation that the country has adopted under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates,” said Shaikh Saif.
The council held its second meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of Shaikh Saif at Al Ittihad Hall at the ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting covered a number of topics related to the development and modernisation of police work. The participants also reviewed the performance indicators of the ministry for 2014.
