Abu Dhabi: Rulers, shaikhs and worshippers performed prayers for rain in response to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s call for Muslims in the UAE to congregate at mosques and Musallahs across the country to perform the prayers.

In Fujairah, His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, performed prayers for rain at the Omar Bin Abdul Aziz Mosque in Madhab region alongside shaikhs, senior officials and worshippers.

In Ajman, His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, performed prayers for rain at the Shaikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Mosque.

In Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, performed the prayers at the Grand Eid Musallah.

In Sharjah, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, performed prayers for rain at the Al Badea’ Musallah.

In Al Ain, Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, performed the prayers at Al Noor mosque.

In Abu Dhabi, worshippers performed prayers for rain at the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
