Abu Dhabi The official holiday to mark Al Israa Wal Miraaj, the ascension of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will be on June 17.
Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education and Board Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said in a circular:
“Al Israa Wal Miraaj” holiday for staff in the federal ministries and bodies will be on Sunday, 27 Rajab 1433, corresponding to June 17.
This is in accordance with Article No.100 of the Cabinet Resolution No. 13 of 2012 on the regulations of the law of human resources in the federal government.
On this occasion, Al Qutami expressed his congratulations to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them good health and prosperity.
He also congratulated people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic countries on this occasion.
