Dubai: Parks supervised by Dubai Municipality witnessed a huge number of visitors flocking to them to spend their happiest moments during Eid holidays, officials at the civic body have said.
Taleb Abdul Kareem Julfar, Director, Public Parks and Horticulture Department, said 137,093 persons visited the major six parks in Dubai during the Eid holidays, recording an increase of 3.37 per cent when compared to the figures last year.
“Dubai Municipality is keen on entertaining all Dubai citizens, residents and visitors on every great occasion with diverse kinds of events and activities. This year, we arranged in our parks, including beach facilities, interesting items ranging from shows to competitions that matched the festivity of Eid,” he said,
