Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the national Operetta "Bint Al Nour" at the Culture and Science Seminar Theatre in Dubai on Monday.
Organised by the Ministry of Education, the "Bint Al Nour" (Arabic for Daughter of Light) operetta features the progress of education in the country.
His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Al Mualla, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture, Humaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education, and other Shaikhs and senior officials were also present.
The operetta, which was performed by 400 male and female students, was dedicated to showcase the great support extended by the UAE's top leadership to education.
The operetta is the product of collaboration by lyrics writer Aref Al Khaja, composer Ebrahim Juma and director Abdullah Al Serkal.
