Abu Dhabi: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs launched an initiative to regulate and improve services provided by the naturalisation, residency and ports sector.
The initiative, titled “We care, because you are what matters”, coincides with the issuance of Cabinet resolution No 22 of 2014 and ministerial resolution No 377 of 2014, which stipulate altering some executive bylaws for the entry and residency law. The initiative aims at the correct implementation of the resolution and new regulations, to facilitate the completion of applications and acquainting customers with services offered and their benefits.
The directorate has also set up a work team to eliminate obstacles facing customers with regard to the new resolutions, and coming up with appropriate solutions to complete all necessary steps for completing applications in a smooth manner, such as gauging customer satisfaction. The work team will also regularly hold discussions to come up with ways for the proper implementation of a framework for the new procedures.
