Mohammad receives Imam of the Makkah Grand Mosque
Shaikh Mohammad hosted a luncheon in honour of scholars and peace conference participants

- His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received yesterday Dr Shaikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, Imam and Orator of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and Islamic scholars who are taking part in the Dubai International Peace Conference.
Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday received at Zabeel Palace Dr Shaikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, Imam and Orator of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and a number of Islamic scholars who are taking part in the Dubai International Peace Conference.
They discussed current Islamic issues. Shaikh Mohammad hosted a luncheon in honour of the scholars and conference participants. The meeting and luncheon were attended by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Land Department, Shaikh Mansour Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Shaikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Information Department, several Shaikhs, dignitaries and senior officials.
Earlier, Shaikh Mohammad and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad performed Juma prayers at the main hall of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, along with thousands of worshippers. The prayer was led by Dr Al Sudais. In his sermon, Al Sudais spoke about the tolerance of Islam and its message of peace, delivered by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
