Mohammad forms board of trustees for Masdar
The Masdar Initiative launched by Abu Dhabi government has announced the formation of the board of trustees of the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
Abu Dhabi: The Masdar Initiative launched by Abu Dhabi government has announced the formation of the board of trustees of the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. The board will be chaired by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The 12-member board will work towards developing the institute. The Masdar Institute is a graduate-level scientific engineering institution focused on education and research in the core energy and sustainability-technology. It is the first academic institute specialised in renewable energy that aims to develop a new generation of technological solutions to curb growing reliance on fossil fuel.
