Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday received the Speaker and members of the Federal National Council (FNC), who called on him to exchange Ramadan greetings.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed FNC Speaker Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr and the FNC members. He expressed his happiness at meeting them to exchange views on national issues.
The Vice-President hosted an iftar banquet in honour of his guests.
During the meeting, Shaikh Mohammad urged the FNC members to adopt a hands-on approach to assess people’s needs on the ground and find solutions to them.
Shaikh Mohammad said that he and members of the UAE cabinet would accept suggestions by FNC members.
Al Murr and the FNC members expressed their loyalty and allegiance to the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Shaikh Mohammad.
They thanked Shaikh Mohammad and promised to work collectively and follow his directives to serve the nation’s interests.
