Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday received at Al Mamoura General Abdul Aziz Bennani, Inspector-General of the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed Bennani and discussed with him relations between the UAE and Morocco, in addition to ways to enhance them for the joint interest of the two fraternal countries and people. The talks focused on cooperation in the field of defence in light of the support of the two countries’ leadership and their keenness to further develop relations.
The two sides exchanged talks on developments in the region and issues of mutual interest.
Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and other senior military officers attended the meeting.
