Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday received Hector Timerman, Argentina’s Foreign Minister, and discussed with him ways of enhancing bilateral ties for the benefit of the two friendly peoples and countries.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed satisfaction at the level of relations of friendship and cooperation, which have seen positive progress, notably in trade, tourist and cultural exchange.
Timerman affirmed that president, government and people of Argentina were sincerely willing to expanding scopes of bilateral ties and building feasible economic, trade and investment partnership with the UAE for the best interest of the two countries and their peoples.
He also lauded the UAE’s development plans and its success in delivering economic and social prosperity to its people.
Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khalifa Saeed Sulieman, Director General of Protocol and Guesthouse Department, and Robin Eduardo Karo, Ambassador of Argentina to UAE, attended the meeting.
