Abu Dhabi: The media delegation hosted by the National Media Council (NMC) on Tuesday visited the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, as part of the UAE 43rd National Day celebrations.
The delegation toured the mosque, which was built based on the vision and initiative of Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and is considered one of the most prominent contemporary Islamic architectureal works in the world.
The delegation commended Shaikh Zayed Mosque’s architecture and design, expressing their happiness at visiting this architectural edifice, which is one of the most important cultural destinations of a religious nature in the world.
The NMC is hosting around 95 media representatives from 54 countries, on the occasion of the celebrations of the UAE’s 43rd National Day.
